So some of you have been privy to my telling of the famous “stolen parrot story” that was passed on to me by some journalist acquaintances of mine. It’s a truly great story to tell (some would say better to tell, than to hear), and a great icebreaker for weddings and dinner engagements. The story was told a few months back on “This American Life” along with some discussion on how the story has taken on a life of it’s own, it begins at around the 7-minute mark. If you haven’t heard me tell the story don’t worry that this will spoil that magical moment, my version has evolved to new levels before unknown.
