Few may know the “City of Angels” has the largest “urban” park in the United States, but that honour is due to Griffith Park. Full of golf courses, the zoo, the observatory, greek theatre and plenty of open trails, Griffith Park really is a shocking accent on this city. For now the park (and hopefully only the bushes) is burning and it’s another chance to remember we built these cities on chaparral, not rock n’ roll.
