The new craze these days with the kids is lightwriting. It’s the new tagging, and it is drawing me in more and more. I have always loved long exposure experimentation with SLR’s and the freedom that digital brings to you in this realm is amazing. I remind you of the early RPJ/KJD collaboration titled “Running Over Myself”.
For those of you not familiar with the lightwriting process, the new Sprint campaign is using it, and these guys here are doing some phenomenal things with the medium. So now I am sort of getting an itch to leave the shutter open (so to speak), and will surely be venturing out onto the concrete jungle of LBC for some late night light bombing.
