A few days ago I managed to secure a copy of “Rob’s Party Mix”, which was given out at the NYC Cloverfield Party that was effectively Rob’s Party. Supposedly there are only a few hundred of these things, you know how I love “limited edition, hand numbered” items and collecting music, so this will be a great addition to the collection. I should be receiving it any day in the post, but for those less fortunate I present “the list.”
1. Coconut Records - “West Coast”
2. Kings of Leon - “Taper Jean Girl”
3. Sean Kingston - “Beautiful Girls”
4. The Blood Arm - “Do I Have Your Attention”
5. Scissors For Lefty - “Got Your Moments”
6. Parliament - “Give Up the Funk”
7. Gorillaz - “19-2000″
8. Spoon - “The Underdog”
9. Kings of Leon - “Pistol of Fire”
10. Architecture in Helsinki - “Do The Whirlwind”
11. The Black Keys - “Grown So Ugly”
12. Bright Eyes - “Four Winds”
13. Joan As Policewoman - “The Ride”

Interesting discussion question. I noticed the same thing, only place I ever saw it was on Wikipedia, which still shows it as part of the track-list.If you notice in the same Wiki article, it mentions iTunes selling a “Cloverfield Mix”, if you actually head over to iTunes you find it’s called “Music From Colverfield” and the summary states:
“iTunes can’t offer you any insight as to the mysteries behind the new film, Cloverfield – you’ll have to find out what the rumors are about yourself. But we can offer you this – a mix of the songs featured in the film (including an exclusive track from Moby - “Disco Lies”). It’s a decidedly non-paranoid, un-catastrophic mix of hip, atmospheric pop tunes with both Sean Kingston and Parliament dropping by with a little funk.”So it appears it was an exclusive track (exclusive to what I don’t know), but I am guessing it’s only on the iTunes “Mix”. Maybe it was in the movie at some point, and theoretically it could still be on the CD (Mine is still shrink wrapped to preserve it’s collector’s value) but I can definitely tell you that the track-listing on the front of the CD does not list it.
The mystery continues…
