So the other day, my former flatmate Paul Gerard Maziar came to me wanting a logo. Paul and I go back to the early/mid zeros, and we lived together for 6 months in San Dimas, CA with our 2 other flatmates Bill and Ted (yes, really, and we were quite close to the Circle K too). Paul and I have always had this kind of brotherly relationship, we get each other way more than either would like to admit, we used to walk into each other’s room’s/office’s multiple times a week starting off with “I have to tell you this, I have to tell someone”, we sang Taking Back Sunday songs at the top of our lungs while driving home from Hollywood (but don’t tell anyone), we had many moments of disagreement that always lead to a great talk on who we are as people and how we can co-exist better (and I for one am better for it). So when a friend like that comes to you asking for a favour, hoops get jumped through.

As you may know, Paul is a writer, not an aspiring writer, a published, reads at cool places you didn’t even know existed, sold at Borders, goes on book tours, working on his second book, writer. Paul asked me to help him with a logo, everyone needs a logo, and I was thrilled to help. He had a pretty solid idea of what he wanted for most of it, so I just cranked out his idea and then Paul and I figured out a few options for the rest, and I think it came out quite lovely. I believe this will be working it’s way to Paul’s website soon, but I think this is the official debut, right here.
