So as I sit here on the phone trying to figure out why Los Angeles couldn’t get my voter information out to me in time, I have been traveling some of the series of tubes. Every once in a while people ask me why I’m voting for Obama, I guess it kind of shocks people who know me, as one lovely person once said “You are pretty conservative, for being a liberal artist”. I never really understood what she meant. Maybe I’m just now finally embracing my liberalism?

It’s hard to really write out my formula for Obama, I don’t necessarily think it’s about his stance on this small issue or that small issue, I think it’s more powerful than that. Some people like to call basing decisions on feeling or emotion and not the issues ignorant, but I am not voting issues. I’m voting for the person that has changed this country already, just through their campaign, I’m voting for the guy whose platform is “Hope”, is “Change”.

Anyway, on the internets I found this great article explaining the Obama “effect” on another personal level. This echoes so many thoughts that I have I had to share it. It may not make sense to everyone to vote for someone “on a hunch”, but I think it’s just about as good as basing it off propaganda and lies.
